| General | Is Elrae a Fabricator? | Yes/No. Elrae does "fabricate" metal by changing its shape into quality metal formed components and assemblies. Together with numerous secondary operations, Elrae uses metal forming equipment including stamping presses and roll forming equipment (roll mills) almost exclusively. Currently, Elrae does not form metal using metal sheeting or traditional fabrication machinery like shears, lasers, turret punch presses, iron workers. This type of fabrication equipment is typically used for lower volumes of about one to five hundred per month which is below our targeted volumes. Return to top |

Elrae Industries, Inc. ships its precision metal stampings, roll formed components, custom assemblies and retail ready products around the corner or around the world. And we do it on time. | General | What types of materials does Elrae utilize in its forming processes? | Elrae uses various materials for both metal forming, metal stamping, general stamping, and roll forming. Materials most commonly used include steel including mild steel, high strength low alloy steel (HSLA), aluminum, stainless steel, copper, brass, and plastics. | Roll Forming | Does Elrae sell roll forming equipment? | No. Elrae uses its in-house equipment to manufacture roll formed components and assemblies for those companies who do not wish to make the investment in equipment and who may not have the expertise that has taken Elrae years to master. Hence, saving time and money. |
