Testing Abilities
Elrae believes in customer commitment, and investing in new equipment is just one more way we show it. Among the CMM, hardness testers, optical comparators, and numerous other pieces of quality testing equipment in our lab, you’ll now find a "pull" or "tensile" tester.
The tester, purchased to facilitate the testing of safety-critical assembly for one of our major customers, tests the ultimate yield point of a variety of materials. For the customer’s assembly, a 16,000 lb. Load test is used to verify its strength.
The quality lab sure has a lot of stuff. And this "stuff" is available to all our customers. Whether a PPAP, chemical test, or a "pull it ‘til it breaks test" is needed, the quality team of Mike Numrich, Chris Garvey, and Eileen Walker will be happy to take their frustrations out on your innocent parts and assemblies! After all, quality and safety come first!
