Alden, NY — Elrae Industries, Inc., a diversified producer of stamped and roll formed components, custom assemblies, and "Retail Ready" products, has upgraded its quality system certification to the ISO 9001:2000 standard. Already certified to the 1997 edition of QS 9000 and ISO 9002 standards, Elrae upgraded to ISO 9001:2000 certification as part of its continuous quality improvement efforts to meet or exceed customer expectations.

The ISO 9001:2000 standard centers on a process approach to enhance Elrae's effectiveness and efficiency in achieving defined objectives in customer satisfaction and meeting customer requirements. Elrae received certification from SGS International Certification Services.
