Elrae Industries, Inc. expands capabilities with addtion of 400-ton press

Alden, NY — Elrae Industries, Inc., a diversified producer of stamped and roll formed components, custom assemblies, and "Retail Ready" products, has expanded its capabiliies with the addition of a 400-ton press, the Minster E2 Hevistamper. The 400 ton press is the second large-ton Minster press Elrae has added in recent years, and serves as a complement to the company’s 600-ton Minster Series E2 Hevistamper.

Elrae’s new 400-ton, straight-sided press features a large, 108" X 54" bed size for flexibility, stability and precision, as well as a 12" stroke. Thre press has the capability to process a wide range of material thicknesses ranging from .020" to .312". The addition of the press enhances Elrae’s ability to meet client demands for higher tonnage parts, increases shop capacity and allows for easy transfer of large tools from customers.
