Elrae Industries, Inc. receives National SHARP Recognition from OSHA

Alden, NY - Elrae Industries, Inc., a diversified producer of stamped and roll formed components, custom assemblies, and “Retail Ready” products, announces that the company was recently awarded a national Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP) honor by the Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA). The SHARP program recognizes small businesses that operate an exemplary safety and health management system. The OSHA recognition singles out participants such as Elrae among their business peers as a model for work site safety and health.

"We are particularly proud of this achievement, as few businesses attain SHARP recognition, and even fewer metal working companies receive it due to the nature of their work," said Anthony J. Mancuso, company president. "Elrae is honored to be among this elite group of SHARP recipients who share a common objective of high standards for the company and their employees".


Upon receiving SHARP recognition, recipients are exempt from programmed OSHA inspections for a specified period of time. They are then invited to renew their exempt status through a full service, comprehensive on-site visit by OSHA representatives to ensure the company's exemplary status. Consultants from the New York State Department of Labor OSHA assisted Elrae in achieving SHARP status.
