Alden-N.Y. -- Elrae Industries, Inc. announces the introduction of its Innovative new CoilSafe2000 steel hold-down device. Elrae's patent pending CoilSafe2000 holds down coil steel while it is being loaded to material feed lines, enabling operators to safely snip bands and prevent coil unwinding. The CoilSafe2000 provides metal forming companies with a low-cost alternative to other devices typically found only on new coil reel equipment or as expensive add-on options.

The CoilSafe2000 is a stand-alone
unit that is floor mounted and
easily adapted to existing material feed lines. It features pneumatic operation with 600psi of hold-down pressure, and no electrical power is required. The device accommodates coils sizes from 36" to 72" with minimum stock width of 2.5". The CoilSafe2000 is constructed of heavy duty components including a one-inch thick steel base and five-inch
pneumatic cylinder.
